I used the last driver all the time, with my old Mac Pro and in the new Mac Studio, the MTP AV has the last chip update and I even put a new battery. Download it and during installation it will ask you what interface you're installing it for, and the MTP/AV is one of the choices! BUT!! if you select the Express XT or 128 you get the latest driver.
